I only have a week and a half left of classes at Montserrat. Then a week to get ready for Evaluations then I'm gone. It'll be summer! I've made some of the best friends here in Beverly, and developed so much work. I don't know where I'll be for the Summer, in NY or Nashua. Either way I'll hopefully have time to do my own thing too, outside of work and friends. I won't have all these classes to make art in, but I'm already planning projects I want to do over the summer. So so much. I'm really excited about making things that way and showing them off because Its more my idea instead of an assignment. I'm going for.. making some art for people I've promised, for myself, and a series to sell. But thats more work then it sounds. I don't know how to go about selling items, but once I plan something out, people interested? Or know people who might be interested, or knows a good way of getting out there? It's just little stuff keep in mind.
Oh, and I'm in love with the Fugees all over again. The sounds of summer. xoxo

ReplyDeleteI like the Fugees too. I love Lauren Hill singing "Killing Me Solftly". She has a beautiful voice. Would you call the Fugees hip hop or rap. Weren't they a reggae group at one time.
Also good luck with your summer art work. I hope you can find a lot of people to buy you art. I know I will buy some. There are art studios that do exibits periodically so I reckon that you will have no problem finding a place to display and sell your art.

Yeah, I feel like its not that easy. Dad said that people out his way have been asking to buy things off me so, why not? haha, I just don't like parting with some things I make. Nothing too formal, just people here and there who've said they wanted some.
