(done in watercolor, just a sketch in my sketchbook)
Thanks to my Aunt Judy this site has been brought to my attention. And after trying to figure it out for the past 2 hours I think I got it all down! I mainly made this for family back home and friends to view some of my art and answer their questions. But it would be really cool too if this got out even further then just the people close to me. But anyways, to the point.
I'm now in my second semester, freshman year at a very nice private college in Beverly. I'm learning so much! And having lots of fun! Right now I'm only on my foundation level classes, and haven't found much time to do too many outside-the-classroom peices of art. First semester I took Painting, 2D Design, and Photo for studio art classes. I've gotten a few really nice pieces out of these classes...:
I went into 'Intro to Photo' not really knowing much about professional photography. Still, I feel as though I don't know much at all, the class was more fun the serious. I've gained a lot about digital photography, but not much on film. To the left is just a pile of my practice on developing.
To the right is one of my finished photo's of a friends hands. Now that I've gotten by the class I realize that I never used filters to make for more contrast and all that. Oops! I would show my digital work, but none is with me at the moment. I'll post those sometime soon... I promise those ones look better! My class went on a trip to a boat yard in Glouster and took some amazing pictures. I got to find those.
Another class I had was foundations Painting. We only used oil paints which I've never used before! It's one of my favorites now. None of my paintings I consider finished. I'd still like to work on them all once I get the time to do so. To the left is a sketch for the finished painting which shows underneath it.

The paintings not finished, but I personaly loved the composition in this one.I can't wait to work on these again soon. My teacher for this class was amazing too. Brought us food everyday!

The next two photo's are from my 2D Design class. We only used paper, glue, and scissors. Boy was this a drag some days for 3 hours in class. But it was all fun and brough good memories for who I had class with. The first picture is my 'final' project for black collages. This class was split into 3 sections, black collage, grey

scales, then color. The next photo is my final project from grey scale. Unfortunately my color final is lost somewhere at school. Ah! That's okay though.
I have many more works of art from all these classes, but these are some of my favorites. Whenever I can or bored, whatever, I'll update with some more finished things from my classes. But I'd like to show more of things in te process once I get everything else up to date. I have loooads of great things from Drawing 1 class, but that will be for another day.
Loves! This entry is done for now. Tell me what you think! If anyone gets ahold of this site. :)
